Julie GormanDr. Julie Gorman NMD, LAc –

Dr. Julie Gorman is the founder and chief executive officer of Revolution Health Medical Center. Since starting the medical practice in 2001 (formerly known as Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine Center), she has been honored as a Phoenix Magazine Top Doctor (2013 & 2015) and been nationally recognized as a fellow of the American Board of Oriental and Reproductive Medicine for her training and skill in holistic infertility care.

As the former insurance committee chairperson of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association, Dr. Gorman diligently worked to expand coverage of naturopathic medicine through conventional healthcare plans such as Cigna, Aetna and United Healthcare. She is also an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Gorman is a graduate of Arizona State University where she received a B.A. and a Master’s in Mass Communication. She completed her medical training at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and also earned a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture.

Our Massage Team

Our massage therapists are top-notch! All of our providers are professionally educated Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) with a minimum of 2-year’s experience.  You can now schedule massage/myotherapy appointments through your patient portal online.

Each massage therapist is trained in a wide variety of medical massage and bodywork modalities including:

  •  Our Medical Assistant (MA) Team

    The Medical Assistants (MAs) at Revolution Health Medical Center are a critical part of the patient experience.  Often times your communication by phone or through the patient portal will be with our Medical Assistants.

    Some of the ways the MAs support our doctors is by completing or assisting with:

    • Gathering current and accurate history information
    • Updating medications, supplements, allergies for each patient
    • triaging urgent calls
    • Taking vitals
    • Doing blood draws in office
    • Removing acupuncture needles
    • Allergy testing
    • IV therapy support
    • Ear Lavage
    • Hydrotherapy
    • Processing lab and imaging paperwork
    • Record keeping and documentation
    • Tinctures

    Our MAs have chosen to work in a naturopathic and integrative environment.  They are committed to providing each patient with a positive experience.

    Amy- Patient Coordinator

    Scheduling and patient relations is one of the biggest challenges in any practice.  Amy works with each patient to accommodate them whenever possible.  This takes a great deal of skill and patience.Amy- Patient Coordinator

    As a naturopathic and integrative practice, extensive new patient history paperwork is required.  Amy will invite you to the patient portal and then send you the appropriate forms to complete via the portal.  Our doctors need time to review your information in advance.  If paperwork is not received, Amy unfortunately will have to cancel your appointment.  Your cooperation with Amy in providing timely and accurate paperwork, insurance information, as well as arriving 15 minutes early for your appointments is appreciated.

    Diane

    Diane – Billing Coordinator

    Diane has been in the medical field for over 13 years. During this time, she has acquired a background in Neurology, Dermatology and Gastroenterology. She is familiar with Herbal Medicine and is very excited to seek the knowledge of Naturopathic services.

    Having been involved in many of the office duties over these years, Diane has an understanding of the importance of patient care from the initial call to the payment of a claim. She sees the administrative duties as a crucial integral part of the patient complete wellness experience.

    Diane has attended Medical Office Staff Advisory Council Meetings, as well as Coding, Collections and Managing & Supervising Seminars. She is a life-learner, always enjoying adding to her awareness of the world around her.
