2018 Naturopathic Medicine Week: Why Naturopathic Medicine?
The 6th Annual US Naturopathic Medicine Week is October 7-13, 2018.
Resolutions passed by the US Senate, as well as a number of State proclamations, have recognized the ability of naturopathic physicians to “provide safe, effective, and affordable health care” and to play an essential role in addressing the nation’s pressing shortage of primary care physicians. This year Naturopathic Medicine Week is October 7-13.

The first principle of Naturopathic Medicine is “first do no harm”. At Revolution Health Medical Center we take this very much to heart. We offer more than just Alternative Medicine. Our Naturopathic Medical Doctors are licensed primary care physicians that are trained to treat acute and chronic conditions with the best of holistic and conventional medicine. Our purpose is to work with you, treat ALL of you (not just your symptoms) and to develop long-term lifestyle plans with you.
Many people do not understand that our doctors are “real doctors” and are able to prescribe medication, order imaging and make referrals to specialists on your behalf. In fact, we sometimes get a good chuckle when patients call to cancel an appointment because they are sick and are going to their doctor. We are your doctors! Just because you came to us for a specific reason such as chronic pain or fertility, does not mean we can’t treat you when it is cold/flu season. Of course we want to help you take a preventative approach, but we are here for you if you do get sick.
If you have questions about what our naturopathic doctors do, or what we offer in our office, take a few moments to read our frequently asked questions page. You may also call and schedule a free 10 minute meet and greet with one of our doctors.
Check out our special offers for October, as we celebrate Naturopathic Medicine Week all month.
