Learn about your heart health and consider participating in our Healthy Heart Program.

~By Dr. Julie Gorman NMD, LAc~

To prevent heart disease and increase awareness of its effects, Revolution Health Medical Center is proudly participating in American Heart Month. You can make healthy changes to lower your risk of developing heart disease. Controlling and preventing risk factors is also important for people who already have heart disease.

To lower your risk and improve heart health, you can start with some of the following:

  •  Watch your weight.
  • Quit smoking and stay away from secondhand smoke.
  • Control your cholesterol and blood pressure.
  • If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation.
  • Get active and eat healthy.

Our Healthy Heart program is clinically proven to lower your risk factors, reverse heart disease and improve your vitality. Our program will help you to improve cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, reduce inflammation as well as to lose weight if needed.  Specialty testing is offered through our office.

Contact us to set up an appointment with one of our doctors to get started on your way to a healthy heart.  You can call during business hours, or current patients can schedule via the patient portal.

February 2, 2018 is National Wear Red Day to show support for those who are faced with heart issues and disease.  Consider wearing red, and letting others know why you are choosing to show support for heart health.

Simple Changes.  Powerful Results.
