Golden Spice Chai

This delicious golden spice chai drink can be enjoyed hot or cold. It contains wonderful anti-inflammatory, immune boosting spices that will keep you feeling well through the winter months. Enjoy!


  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1-2 dropperfuls vanilla stevia (to taste)
  • 5 cardamom pods
  • 5 black peppercorns
  • 1 piece of 1-inch vanilla pod
  • 1 star anise pod
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 piece of 1-inch fresh ginger grated
  • 1 piece of 1-inch fresh turmeric grate



  1. Bring water to a boil and add herbs.
  2. Cover with a lid, and lower heat to simmer.
  3. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Turn off heat and strain through any mesh tea strainer.
  5. Add coconut milk and vanilla stevia to taste

Makes 3 cups so you have plenty to enjoy with a friend!
