Dark Chocolate Recipe

Delicious Dark Chocolate Recipe to Make at Home

Finding a dark chocolate recipe that is healthy and still tastes good is not an easy task.  Look no further!  You may be considering giving this as a gift, but once you have a taste it may not make it out of your home.  Start with three ingredients, but add other items you like such as nuts or dried fruit.  As an added bonus this is vegan.

INGREDIENTS

All You Need To Do:

  1. Mix coconut oil, cocoa powder, and maple syrup together in a bowl until evenly combined.
  2. Make as a bark or consider pouring the chocolate into a muffin tin or molds to shape.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator until hardened.

*Since coconut oil has a low melting point this will harden a lot in the fridge.

Alternative suggestions:

If the ingredients are clumping too much, heat in a pan on lowest possible heat until smooth and creamy.

You can heat just the coconut in the microwave until slightly warm before adding other ingredients.

Consider pouring the chocolate into a muffin tin or molds to shape.

Mix in or top with nuts or dried fruit before chilling.
